Do you have any tattoos? If not, if you were going to get inked, what would you get?

Lotuses are pretty, so I would get that, but since the NANA craze, it doesn't seem as original. I would want to get something unique and elegant, yet not something as trite as a Chinese character, or a rose.

So... I don't know. ^^;

Oh boy.

I know that for some people who are acquainted with both the Korean and Japanese cultures, there's a lot of confuzzlement about how Koreans and Japanese don't get along. For example: http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_36863.htm

And yeah, I did post there. I couldn't resist. Please excuse the sarcasm.

I know what she did was racist, and in my opinion, she didn't do anything righteous. It was unusual that she would accept contracts from other countries excluding Japan. But how the people attacked her in the forum... really upsets me.

Okay, for one thing, how can people oppose something without knowing about it? I mean, yeah, the hate between Koreans and Japanese is kinda hard to understand for people who don't know much about the history, but hell, do some background research first.

I don't know how older Japanese feel about Koreans (because I know that Koreans aren't too friendly towards Japanese), but it's not just Koreans harboring racism on their part. Fuck, I even got denied the restroom in Little Tokyo when I was EIGHT because I spoke the Korean language. Yeah, that's real nice. The looks I got, the looks my mom and my grandmother got... To hear some people talking like that about Korean/Japanese affairs so lightly, or just ignores it, just makes my blood boil.

I myself DON'T hate Japanese people or culture, by any means. Actually, I admire it and I want to study the language and study abroad there. But stuff like this... when I hear people talking like this, I get angry. Although I love Japan, I love my country, too.
